Beginner Women’s Boxing Series
Curious about boxing but not sure where to start?
This beginner-friendly women-only boxing class teaches real boxing technique in a supportive environment. You'll learn proper punching, footwork, movement, and partner drills — the fundamentals of the sweet science.
No experience required. Beginners welcome.
This class is designed for first-timers and beginners. There is no sparring, and no prior boxing experience or fitness level is required.
Instructor
This class is led by Shawnda Williams, an Arizona Golden Gloves Champion and licensed USA Boxing coach with over a decade of boxing and coaching experience.
Shawnda competed for six years, earning multiple state titles and Golden Gloves championships before transitioning into coaching athletes for both recreation and competition.

Pricing
Charter Rate (first 10 participants): $75
Introductory rate for the first group of participants.
Standard Rate: $100
Limited to 15 women total to keep the class small and hands-on.
Equipment
Boxing gloves are available for use during class, though participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
Hand wraps are required for safety and hygiene.
Please bring 180-inch boxing wraps or quick wraps.
Wraps will also be available for purchase at the gym for $10.
