A TBP Women's Chapter women-only guided hike led by experienced and capable female TrailBound Project instructors and guides. It's an opportunity for women to connect with other women who share a love for the outdoors and want to forge friendships for future adventures and be a part of the women's outdoor community. It also allows a safe environment to focus on female-centric topics that matter to them.
This hike has a nominal, non-refundable $20 registration fee to secure your spot.
Join the Women’s Chapter for a beautiful guided hike through Schooley’s Mountain, one of Morris County’s most scenic natural areas. This route is approximately 3.5 miles with 575 feet of elevation gain and loss, offering a satisfying mix of steady climbs, rolling woodland terrain, and rewarding views. It’s considered an easy-to-moderate hike, ideal for women who enjoy a bit of challenge while still hiking in a relaxed, supportive group environment.
We’ll explore peaceful forest trails, rocky sections, and gentle slopes as we make our way through the park’s varied landscape. A highlight of the route is the Schooley’s Mountain waterfall, a picturesque cascade tucked into the woods. We’ll take time to pause here, enjoy the sound of rushing water, and soak in the beauty of this hidden gem.
TrailBound women-only hikes are about more than reaching a destination or crushing miles — they’re about building outdoor confidence, sharing trail knowledge, and creating a supportive, welcoming space for women to connect.
