About this Event

A collaborative fundraiser created by women in the film industry—actors, producers, and directors—dedicated to raising money for women-focused film projects. Our mission is to create jobs, internships, and educational opportunities that empower women in film.

About the Fundraiser

A collective effort by women in the industry to fund women-led film projects.Proceeds will support:

Job creation on film projects

Internships for youth

Hands-on education and training in the film industryThis fundraiser is one of two events designed to secure essential funding to expand opportunities for women in film.

Funded Projects

Women Of Sugar Hill (short documentary)Featuring: Lauren P. Raysor, Esq., and other women who grew up with the gangsters from Sugar Hill

Purpose: Highlight the stories of women connected to Sugar Hill, shedding light on their resilience and impact

Carolyn Smith (Screenplay Pilot)

Status: Schedule to begin shooting the pilot in February 2026

Purpose: Bring a powerful narrative led by and about women to screen
