About this Event

This session will bring together two unique perspectives on building resilience through purpose-driven leadership. One speaker will guide participants in applying a personal SWOT analysis and yogic practices to strengthen self-awareness and alignment, while the keynote will deliver practical strategies for leaders at all levels—covering institutional change, evolving risks, inclusive environments, and the role of mentorship and representation in shaping the future of security leadership. We will also feature a dynamic panel discussion on “From Token to Trailblazer – Moving from being the ‘only’ to mentoring the next generation,” highlighting the power of representation and community in advancing leadership. An Eastern Approach to Building Resilience
Host: Floria Chiu

Info: Driven by Purpose: Building resilience starts with self-awareness. By understanding your strengths, weaknesses, growth opportunities, and obstacles—a personal SWOT—you gain clarity to define a meaningful purpose that guides you. Purpose sets your direction; resilience helps you persevere through challenges.
The Vedantic approach offers a practical framework for aligning mind and body, emphasizing self-reflection, mindful action, and discipline. These habits enhance self-awareness and self-management, fostering the resilience needed to handle life’s challenges. We’ll look at conducting a personal SWOT and yogic practices to help you stay true to your purpose and strengthen resilience over time.
