Join us to celebrate the closing of the Bettye Crutcher exhibit, “Bettye’s Bin,” by honoring Ms. Crutcher’s legacy and strengthening the network of women building careers in Memphis music. Ms. Crutcher holds the distinction of being Stax Records’ only female staff songwriter, and her story is a powerful reminder of why community and access matter in the music business. This event highlights the power of mentorship, professional connections, and community in building careers.
To mark the exhibit’s closing, we’re hosting a Women in Music Networking Night on Wednesday, March 25, designed to build relationships and expand opportunities. Research from a Berklee College of Music survey underscores the impact of mentorship and networking—92% of women who were mentored report higher satisfaction with career growth.
Women working in music are invited to connect with other female professionals and hear real-world perspectives on challenges and best practices.
