About this Event
Women depicting women at the Tate Britain
Join us for a fun and inspiring museum tour at Tate Britain!
This event dives into how women artists have portrayed women in portraits, narrative paintings and historical subjects across the Tate Britian collection. Sarah's tour will also be an introduction to the impact of women artists on the development of British art; we’ll talk about the shifting social and artistic restrictions for women artists and what was often expected of their female subjects.
The tour offers you the chance to see the artworks up close and chat about the stories behind them. Perfect for anyone curious about art, history, or just looking for a great day out in person. Don’t miss out on this unique experience celebrating women by women!
