Wolsey Orchestra returns to the Royal Hospital School for an evening of uplifting and much-loved orchestral music. Conducted by Richard Laing and led by Dan Kent, the programme opens with Mendelssohn’s sparkling Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and concludes with Beethoven’s powerful and revolutionary Eroica Symphony. The centrepiece of the evening will be Mozart’s elegant Piano Concerto No 12 in A major, performed by RHS music scholar Sofiia Usmanova - a rising star whose musicality and poise continue to captivate audiences.Full Programme:
