The Wisdom of the Sages New York Weekend Retreat is an immersion into bhakti hosted by Raghunath Cappo & Kaustubha Das, the Co-hosts of the Wisdom of the Sages Podcast. The Weekend will included kirtans, yoga classes, philosophy workshops, Q&A sessions and a special highlight, the annual New York Rathayatra Festival and Parade.
The Raythayatra Festival is a Bhakti celebration that dates back centuries and continues to be attended by thousands in India till this day. Every year it’s celebrated in New York City with a parade down 5th Avenue and a festival in Washington Square Park. Raghunath & Kaustubha will be speaking at length on the meaning of the festival over the weekend to help participants understand the deeper meaning of this colorful bhakti tradition. This will be fun!
This event will take place outdoors, on the Bhakti Center's rooftop. Limited space is available.
