𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐤
Ara Baumstarck is the Vice President of Operations for the Black Hills and Badlands Tourism Association, where she’s spent the past 24 years mastering the art of keeping both people and budgets in line. She oversees budgeting, finances, human resources, administration, and the Black Hills Visitor Information Center—essentially making sure everything works the way it should (and fixing it when it doesn’t).
Ara is President of the BH Society of Human Resource Management and Treasurer of the Danny’s Jam Board of Directors. She’s equally passionate about supporting youth, volunteering in a variety of ways, most recently with the Rapid City Area Schools Advisory Council. When she’s not working, you’ll find her exploring the Black Hills, golfing, reading, gardening, or tracking down the world’s largest roadside attractions.
