About this Event
Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice is excited for our upcoming Annual Celebration, June 10, 2024 from 7:00 to 8:30 at First United Methodist Church in Madison. We are especially excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Rachel Laser, President and CEO of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. Ms. Laser will share with us the important work of Americans United to protect our First Amendment right to worship as we please, free from government interference. Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice, in our efforts to build bridges among faiths and to create a more just, equitable, and compassionate society, is proud to continue our work and to further our partnerships, nationally and locally, with sister organizations who share our values.
Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and desserts, listen to inspiring music, and hear about WFVJ's many accomplishments over the past year and exciting new developments for the year to come. Also help us celebrate our Voice for Justice awardees Sherrie Tussler, retiring Executive Director of The Hunger Task Force, and John Chisholm, Milwaukee District Attorney!
Please be aware, parking at FUMC is limited and mainly for those with mobility challenges. Street and public garage parking is available nearby.
A Zoom option is also available for those unable to join us in person at a discounted price. The Zoom link will be sent by the end of the day on June 9.
