Alys has just one story for you, a good juicy one to give you a midweek boost to get you through to the weekend.
We offer you a sweet hour-and-a-half including an interval. It's Wednesday, so we're not out-out! Mooch on home with plenty of time for a long night of sweet dreams. Or maybe you'll take your ease downstairs in the pub for a while longer.
You are warmly invited to climb the stairs at the Palmerston, grab a drink and slip out of the everyday for an hour or so.

She will conjure up glass mountains dancing smoke, moon chasing sun, human-birds, bird-humans, tricksters tricking, spiders weaving, goddesses in nutshells... There is a world of mythic magic to dream you way into! Slip out of the every day for an hour or so.

Info: December's story is a magical adventure for anyone who just needs a sit down and a rest, for heaven's sake! Alys tells a tale of an old king who drags his throne to the eastern-most window of his eastern-most room and sits looking East, with one eye crying and one eye laughing. Who has the courage to find out what is going on? A talking horse, a wild ride, and a meeting with a creaky old warrior are only the start. There will be terrible danger, (very) stuffed fruit, and diamonds in the soles of somebody's shoes... A perfect winter's night wonder tale.
