A woman only event
You may think yourself lazy, or flawed. Yet your body is made of almost exactly the same elements as the stars. Your bone composition matches the coral in the seas and you, my friend, are ruled by the moon and the sun. Whether you like it or not. So no, you are not lazy, Nature is simply pulling you to slow, like the life, floral and fauna around you. It is not your moment to rise. It is winter, you are wintering. And you are right on time. We are thrilled to be inviting all you beautiful souls to 4 hours of rest and connection. We will be gathering in a cosy yurt with soft lighting and calming vibes. Winter is a time of rest and restoration as we allow our bodies to settle and find stillness.
Join Fay and Cori for a half-day retreat in the heart of Edinburgh. This is a welcoming and trauma-informed space for women to connect and experience the essence of winter and rest together. We will begin with warm cocoa and a connection to the earth. Then, we'll engage in some free movement and somatic practices. To conclude, we'll enjoy a sound bath and embrace restful yoga Nidra.
Fay and Cori have been holding safe enough spaces for years and are seasoned group facilitators who aim to create magical experiences. Fay is an experienced yoga teacher and therapist as well as a well-being practitioner with many skills. Cori is a trauma informed integrative somatic wellbeing practitioner who is passionate about nervous system regulation and being creative.
We ask that you bring a yoga mat and a blanket as well as anything you may need to feel comfortable.
