Join us for an introduction to a moving meditation called Qi Gong. Participants will learn a practice called T’ai Chi Chih, which is a series of 19 movements and one closing posture. This class series meets four times from 12–1 p.m.

WHAT IS QI GONG?
Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, and meditation to reduce stress and improve well being. Benefits of Qi Gong include improved balance, increased energy, and greater mental clarity.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Maureen English has been a Qi Gong practitioner since 2008. She is certified in a form called T’ai Chi Chih and have been teaching since 2011. Maureen grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and is currently a Sorority House Director at Alpha Chi Omega on Greek Row at the University of Washington.
