We will give you a shooting guide so you can build a stunning wedding portfolio we will patiently guide you shot to shot so at the end of the day you will have a strong set of images you can then approcoach future clients with.
One of the hardest thing getting a break in wedding photography is if you never done it before you have no photos! We solve that problem!
Our Wedding photography portfolio workshops are an ideal way of building your business and earning an income as a photographer, learning new techniques and honing down your creative visual style as well as trying new ideas thinking outside the box to add the wow factor to your wedding photography. Wedding photography workshops and portfolio days are about taking photographs and during the day you’ll have plenty of time doing just that, hands on practical learning with expert tuition from 2 experienced photographers will ensure the techniques you learn on a training day will be ingrained in your mind (and we will give your extensive digital resources) , allowing you to create your own stunning wedding photographs with you own unquie signature style.
We keep the number of students low to a max of 8 to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to photograph, direct, style, learn and ask questions as we demonstrate techniques, lighting and settings that have been tried and tested to create wedding images.
Our portfolio days allow you to tailor the training to yours or your business needs to ensure the maximum return on your training investment.
All levels of experience are catered for from begginer to semi-pro.
We will camera controls to advanced off camera flash to ensure you get stunning results in any lighting conditions, we will ask you questions before you sign up to ensure the day is tailored to everyones needs and abilities we’ll only cover the areas that are required and of maximum benefit, whether marketing, online sales, use of off camera flash or Photoshop editing,lightroom workflow.
Who Runs this course?
This course is hosted by Community Photographic Studio CIC and Run by and Styled by Hannah Cochrane BA (Hons) and (Masters degree in building a creative business) as well as being experienced wedding & commercial photographer who works with award winning businesses in the Southwest and international weddings.

We will be having a meeting up the week before the portfolio builder to anwser any questions and give out an itinarary for the day. Help with advice on what to do with your images after the portfolio builder. How to promote and help share yourself and build a personal brand. How to share your imags with the parties involde in the day to maximise your exposure.
