Winter Wander Nature and Community Series

Grab a cozy beverage, a loved one, and a warm hat, and join us Sundays at 11:00 AM from 1/18-2/8 for a community winter nature wander! Open to all ages, these weekly walks invite Somerville residents to enjoy fresh air, gentle movement, and wintertime connection.

Each wander will begin and end at the Somerville Community Growing Center. Participation can be tracked week to week. Please dress for the weather—hats, gloves, layers, and sturdy footwear are recommended. Please reach out if you do not have access to those things and we will try to connect you.

If conditions allow, we’ll take short jaunts around the neighborhood. Routes will be mapped to prioritize the clearest, wheelchair-accessible, and least icy paths, but dressing appropriately is essential for comfort and safety.

This series will be led by Phoebe Grupper- an environmental educator and ecologist from Brooklyn, NY.
