Step into a magical woodland this winter at Hillfields Park Community Centre! Created & performed by Hillfields residents. The Holly King is a story about balance: between dark & light, rest & growth, winter & summer. Drawing on the magic of Celtic tradition & the changing of the seasons, the production invites people of all ages to come together in midwinter to reflect, rejoice, & look forward to brighter days ahead.
The musical has been lovingly inspired by Celtic folklore & by Deborah L. Duncan, whose book sparked the idea to bring this timeless seasonal story to Hillfields.
