Celebrate Winter Chills with The Mallu Barstud!
As the chill of winter sets in and London's sky begins to shed down on us, Arun, The Mallu BarStud, returns with the winter edition of his 'pop-up restaurant'—a sit-down meal crafted from organic ingredients sourced from his neighbourhood in Islington. With recipes inspired by his family in Southern Kerala and fused with his love for Middle Eastern cuisine, each dish reflects his unique culinary heritage and upbringing.

About the food
I will curate 5 tapas-style dishes—mostly organic, complex in flavours, and made using techniques passed down through my ancestors, whose roots in Kerala trace back to 52 AD. I can’t wait to share the rich history behind each bite! I will try my best to accommodate your dietary preferences so do reach out to let me know!

A cosy sit-down meal around a table filled with warm, like-minded people. Chef Arun will serve five rounds of tapas, each perfect to pair with your favourite drinks.
