About this Event
Glorious feasts aren't just for Christmas and Boxing Day, but the run up to these two days alongside the drop in weather sees the food on our plates become noticeably richer. Stews and roasts take centre stage; salads morph into confit veg; and potato salad becomes dauphinoise. The wines that we pair need to be gutsy to stand up to such fare with enough body to warm our souls as we dine by candlelight and the wind swirls outside. So, come pull up a chair at our tasting table and get in the mood for a warm evening locked away in our Tufnell Park store, the whites wines will be rich and the red wines will be bold – all in the name of gastronomy!
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
