It is time to take back our Summer Wine tastings with Santa Julia Winery (part of the Zuccardi family) in Argentina.
It is the Somm vs the Summ. The sommelier coming from Bodega Santa Julia vs the 5 different summer wines we will open on the night.
What to expect?
With your £20 ticket, you will have included 5 generous glasses of wine during the evening. From sparkling, to orange, to chilled reds, if you are a summer person, this is your tasting.
Who's doing it?
Well fellas, this is Bodega Santa Julia, Zuccardi's family winery and one of the best representative of what is argentinian wine to the world. Led by third generation -brother and sister Sebastian Zuccardia and Julia Zuccardi are at the forefront - these fellas really gather wine knowlegde.
What we will drink?
We don't want to spoil the night, but we will present a new line of wines Bodega Santa Julia's has launched not long ago. A bit lighter, a bit fresher, a bit naughtier. Or maybe not, but they are bloody delicious. For Empanadas, for summer bbq's.
If it is my first time at a De Nadas wine tasting, what can I expect?
We are not super serious about tastings, so they are pretty casual. The sommelier will pour you the wines one by one, will talk a bit about how they smell and taste like that, you will ask silly questions, we will play some music, make some noise, and to the next wine.
It is defo the perfect chilled night with a few mates.
At De Nadas we specialise in argentinian empanadas. With 15 different varieties (Classic Beef, Caramiselised onions, Blue Cheese and pear, Squash and kale, Spicy Lamb... you name it) we have empanadas for everyone. We also host the biggest collection of argentinian wines in the U.K. We have shops in Notting Hill, Shoreditch, Stoke Newington, Bethnal Green and Kew Gardens.
NOTE: This tasting is happening on the 5th of June at our shop in Golborne Road (Notting Hill).
