About this Event
Join us for a fun evening exploring sparkling wines made in Canada! Taking a tour from the east to the west coast, we’ll be tasting wines from Nova Scotia all the way west to BC! A flight of at least 5 different wines will be poured, along with charcuterie snacks for each guest.
Our sessions are all about a slowed down approach to exploring and enjoying wine. Beginners and curious minds welcome.
Wine Curious is a recurring series of wine tasting workshops with Phoebe So.
They are designed to offer a slowed down approach to exploring and enjoying wine with open minds in an intimate space. Learn to taste mindfully and identify flavors while we See! Smell! Taste! We will break down those fancy wine words and develop your palate. Let’s discover fun facts and stories of wine growing and making while we sip away.
Organizer Bio:
Phoebe So is an independent workshop and event organizer with a goal of reimagining wine and bringing people together.
She highly values the effort devoted to winemaking and farming and has enjoyed her time working on vineyards in Italy, Slovenia and Vancouver Island. She believes in an open minded and curious approach, no matter how little or how much experience one may have with wine. Her events skip the rigid rules to focus on real stories, honest craft, and the simple joy of sharing a glass. She has 2 harvest seasons under her belt, studied with George Brown College and completed her WSET Level 3 program.
