Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is one of the most beloved entries in the TV-drama-turned-film franchise’s oeuvre. It’s a more-or-less sequel to a Season One episode titled “Space Seed” which introduced the villainous Khan, played by Ricardo Montalbán, one of the few actors who could match the galaxy-shaking intensity of William Shatner, as Captain James Tiberius Kirk. Thrill to the 1982 release again or be amazed for the first time when Khan is screened at The Straz. Then bask in the presence of Kirk himself, as Shatner takes the stage to share anecdotes from the making of Khan and throughout his career. A question-and-answer period also is planned. If that doesn’t make you want to boldly go where no man has gone before, or at least boldly go out for the evening, nothing will.Tickets go on sale to the public on Jun. 30.
