About this Event
Join GCC Staff at the public esplanade at 420 Carroll Street where we will explore the plantings and waterfront for wildlife that call this space home! Led by Education Programs Senior Manager Jen Kepler who will teach us about iNaturalist, City Nature Challenge and lead us in wildlife observations. We will get the chance to hear from GCC's Horticulturalists who care for the landscape at this site, sharing their practices and knowledge in making this space supportive to beneficial insects and birds, among others.
We will log our observations in iNaturalist as part of City Nature Challenge. If you wish to participate in City Nature Challenge, please download iNaturalist (a free app) on your smart device, create an account and start practicing with it before this program.
This event is free, registration is required.
