About this Event
Join us for an up-close experience with Utah’s DNR Law Enforcement K-9 Unit. Meet Officer Matt Burgess and his partner Cruz, alongside Officer Justin Brimhall and his partner Cooper, for an exclusive look into the specialized world of wildlife detection dogs.
You’ll discover how wildlife K-9s are trained and how their work differs from that of traditional police K-9s. The officers will share fascinating real-life cases where K-9s played a critical role in wildlife investigations, highlighting the unique skills these dogs bring to conservation and law enforcement. The seminar will conclude with a live demonstration that showcases these highly trained dogs in action.
The event is free, but we ask attendees to bring a nonperishable canned food item to donate to the Bountiful Food Pantry to help support our local community.
