Join CBWNPS and Friends of Badger Mountain to kick off native plant appreciation month and our second annual BioBlitz to engage in community science and collect data on living organisms within the preserve.CBWNPS Restoration Chair Al will provide a brief introduction to iNaturalist at the event, followed by optional guided walks up the trail to observe what's blooming while collecting photo data of flora, birds, insects, and whatever other cool things you find!
Meeting Point: Badger Mountain Preserve - Westgate Trailhead parking lot off of Dallas Road.
When: Saturday April 4th 12 PM - 2 PM
What to bring: Water, A phone or camera if you plan to participate in the iNaturalist project. Closed toed shoes, layers and long pants recommended.
