About this Event

Join us for an afternoon wildlife photography outing focused on the beautiful semi-wild ponies during foaling and mating season. This is one of the most exciting times of year to photograph them, with chances of seeing playful foals, herd interactions, and stallion behaviour in beautiful evening light.

This is primarily a wildlife photography outing focused on the ponies, but there may also be opportunities for photographing cattle, birds, and wider countryside scenes along the way.

📍 Departure from central Cambridge

🚗 Transport provided by the organiser

📸 Small group outing (maximum 3 participants)

Please note:

*A minimum of 2 participants is required for the outing to go ahead.

• Wildlife is unpredictable and sightings/behaviour can never be guaranteed, although the ponies are regularly seen in the area.

*We may cover some ground on foot during the outing. The walk is not particularly difficult, but suitable footwear is strongly recommended.

• Participants are responsible for their own photography equipment and personal belongings.

⚠️ Participation & Safety Disclaimer

By joining this outing, participants acknowledge that they are attending at their own risk. Outdoor photography involves uneven terrain, livestock, changing weather, and other natural hazards. The organiser cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, damage, theft, delays, or unforeseen circumstances occurring during transport or the outing itself.

Looking forward to a relaxed evening of wildlife photography and countryside atmosphere
