About this Event
As part of our Wilder Luton project and associated aim to engage older children and young people with the natural landscape found around Luton we have launched a new, monthly, Wild Ed session for 12-18yr olds educated at home.
Meeting the 3rd Monday of each month at the Bushmead Community Hub garden, we will provide a chance to learn new woodwork skills and gardening skills by looking after and improving this communal green space.
Nearby is the Bradgers Hill nature reserve and there will be a chance to explore this site, to help look after the site and to try out some bushcraft activities. Sessions will depend on the season but will always be based outdoors so please come dressed for the weather. Only in extreme conditions will sessions be cancelled.
Thanks to National Heritage Lottery funding we can offer these sessions at £4 per child (+eventbrite fee)
If you have younger children please do look at our 'Wild Ed-Primary' sessions, also running monthly on Monday afternoons.
