Our annual Christmas lights switch-on, Lighting up Luton, will be returning this year on Saturday 23 November, in partnership with Luton BID and Luton Point.There’ll be outdoor entertainment and live music from 2pm, until the lights switch-on at around 6pm. Our special guest this year is Bluey, who will be making personal appearances at intervals throughout the day, courtesy of Luton BID. There will also be face painting, funded by Luton BID.
Luton Point will also open their Enchanted Forest Grotto on the day from 10am. Meet Father Christmas in his log cabin, enjoy a festive craft and have a photo on the Woodland Throne!
The grotto will be open every weekend from 23 November, then daily from Saturday 21 December until Christmas Eve. Entry is free if you spend £20 in stores at Luton Point or make a donation to charity.
Quiet sessions will also be held each Sunday from 10 to 11am offering a more relaxed environment as most of the shops won’t have opened yet.
