Wild Beach - A Coastal Adventure!
Drop off sessions for ages 5 to 12 years
Location: West Beach, Littlehampton, BN17 5LH.
Let your child experience the wonders of the coast with our Easter Wild Beach School Sessions. Set on the stunning coast of West Beach, Littlehampton, these sessions are packed with hands-on outdoor activities that inspire learning, exploration, and creativity.

Rain or shine, the beach fun continues this Easter! We’ll have access to shelter and the visitor’s centre for shade or rainy day activities.
Price: £30.00 per child, includes a lunch.

FAQ's:
Will my child be going into the sea? We will be offering the opportunity to paddle and play in the shallow water at a designated time and as part of a supervised and vigorously risk assessed activity. Children should wear clothes that they do not mind getting wet/swimming attire. Bring a change of clothes, towel and sun cream to reapply after any water play and beach shoes if they wish. This activity is offered weather, conditions and season dependent.
What to bring and wear:
- A refillable water bottle
- Appropriate outdoor clothes and footwear for the time of year and weather.
- A jumper for breezy days
- Sun screen/sun hats
- A towel
- Wear any swimming attire under their clothes (for paddling and splashing in the shallows, weather and conditions dependant and assessed on the day).
- Change of clothes.
We will be providing a picnic lunch, snacks and extra water for drinking.

Parking charges: Drop off and pick up is free, however this is a public car park and parking charges apply if you are leaving your car for any length of time.
Can I stay with my child: These are drop off sessions only, but there are some lovely walks around the beach, a cafe and other areas if you would like to stay near by.
My child is entitled to a free space, how do I book these? All free HAF FSM free spaces are booked through the new WSCC online booking system. You will need your child's HAF FSM number to book any places. This is the link: https://haf.bookinglab.co.uk/westsussex/37147/login
Our bad weather contingency plan: We will continue the session outside in most weathers and will put up temporary shelters when needed for shade or rain. We do have use of a visitors centre to store bags and shelter from rain showers, however in very wet/rainy/windy conditions or if weather warnings are in place we will have to cancel the session.
My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. If you would like to discuss any food allergies or other requirements further please do get in touch. [email protected]
Cancellation and refund policy: If in the very unlikely event we are unable to run the session due to any reason we will contact you to let you know asap. Paid for places will receive a full refund.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund if your child is unable to attend.
GDPR policy: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
