Wick & Unwind: A Rooftop Scent Social
There's a moment, just before sunset, when the harbor turns gold, the city quiets, and a candle catches its first flicker. That moment is what we're building Wick & Unwind around.
This isn't a candle-making class. It's an evening.
Two hours above Baltimore's Harbor East. Curated scents, lite fare, music, and a custom candle you'll blend, pour, and carry home.
The Experience
You'll arrive to a welcome pour, soft music, and the scent of fresh florals on the rooftop. Over the next two hours, you'll move between three intentional spaces — at your own pace, with friends old and new.
The Scent Lab. Sample more than two dozen artisanal fragrance oils. Smoky and warm. Fresh and herbaceous. Soft and floral. Or something entirely your own. Build the blend that will become your candle.
The Wax Bar. In small rotating waves of 8 to 10, you'll pour your own candle at our guided station — wick measured, wax tempered, vessel chosen. The result is yours to keep.
The Tasting Table. A curated grazing board of charcuterie, artisan cheese, seasonal fruit, and small bites. Sip a signature mocktail or wine pairing crafted to complement the night's house scent.
In between, the rooftop is yours. Music. Conversation. The skyline doing what it does best.

The Details

Doors open at 5:45 PM. The candle pour begins promptly at 6:15 — please arrive on time so your wave is ready when called.

A Few Things to Know
What to wear: Casual. The rooftop is open-air, so consider a light layer for after sunset.
Beginner-friendly? Absolutely. Every guest is guided through the candle-pour by a lead instructor. No experience needed.
21+? Yes —
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
Parking: Parking is available at the Pier 5 garage across from our building, the Parkway surface lot across Eastern Ave from our building, or the Little Italy garage on High Street behind our building. There is also a parking garage above the Starbucks on Fleet St.
A Note on Seats
We cap each event at 30 guests so the rotation stays intimate and the candle-making feels personal, not assembly-line. Most events sell out before the door opens. When seats are gone, a waitlist opens — drops are first-come, first-claimed.

Refund Policy:
Refund & Cancellation Policy
We reserve materials, food, beverages, and your seat the moment you book — so our policy reflects that. We've kept it as fair as possible while protecting the experience for guests who do attend.
More than 14 days before the event: Full refund, no questions asked.
Between 14 and 7 days before: 50% refund, or a full credit toward any future Wick & Unwind event within 12 months.
Within 7 days of the event: Tickets are non-refundable, but fully transferable. You're welcome to send a friend in your place — just email us their name at least 24 hours before doors open.
If we cancel or reschedule: You'll receive a full refund automatically, or the option to roll your ticket to a future date.

You may transfer your ticket to another guest at any time up to 24 hours before doors open, free of charge. To transfer, email us with the new guest's full name and email address. The original ticket holder is responsible for any payment exchange between them and the new guest — Wick & Unwind is not involved in that transaction.
Rescheduling
If we reschedule an event, your ticket automatically rolls to the new date. If the new date does not work for you, you may request a full refund within 7 days of receiving the rescheduling notice.
Late Arrivals
The candle-pour experience begins promptly at 6:00 PM and runs in scheduled waves. Guests arriving more than 30 minutes late may not be able to participate in the candle pour, though they are welcome to enjoy the lounge, lite fare, and music. No partial refunds are issued for late arrivals.
This policy is effective as of the date of ticket purchase. Wick & Unwind reserves the right to update this policy for future events; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies to your ticket.
