About this Event
Monthly open decks night celebrating African & diaspora music. Listen, dance, discover!
Join us for a relaxed, community-led evening celebrating African and African diaspora music in all its forms.
Wi De means “we are here” in Sierra Leonean Krio. This is a welcoming space to listen, dance, experiment, and share music. Come to hear something new, move a little, and spend time around good music and good energy.
Expect a wide range of sounds, including Amapiano, Gqom, Afro-house, Afrotech, Afrobeats, Highlife, Soukous, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Reggae and more. If it’s rooted in Africa and the diaspora, it belongs here!
Drinks are 2-4-1 at the bar.
If you’d like to take part as a DJ, please book a free DJ ticket. DJs will be allocated time slots upon arrival. B2Bs are also welcome if you’d like to share a slot with another DJ. DJ slots are first come, first serve.
