Struck by the depleted state of nature in her native Scotland, Flo journeys around Europe, here she encounters a different story, finding places where nature is making a dramatic comeback. Inspired by a sense of hope and renewal, she is prompted to ask: if this is possible elsewhere, then why not Scotland?
The film is a central pillar of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance’s Rewilding Nation campaign, which urges the Scottish Government to commit 30% of land and seas to rewilding principles. The campaign is underpinned by a charter, which we will share on the night. Learn more here https://www.scotlandbigpicture.com/why-not-scotland.
