Discover female artists from history and celebrate their styles with your own piece of art!
About this Event

This inspiring and uplifting workshop is all about connecting, celebrating and creating!
In honour of Women's History Month, this creative arts workshop focuses on underrepresented female artists that were almost erased from history.
You'll learn the stories of these incredible women whilst creating your own piece of artwork inspired by their work and style.

A range of art materials are provided including canvasses and mixed media paper, acrylics paint, pencils and pastels, stencils and collaging materials.

No artistic experience is necessary to take part - this is a relaxed, encouraging workshop and artist Jenni Reika will be on hand to offer guidance, tips and techniques, as required.

Featured artists include: Löis Mailou Jones, Hilma af Klint, Pamela Colman Smith, Harriet Powers.
