Description: Ever wondered about your true self when you're at peace? Join us at MIKA for a restorative morning of self-reflection. Discover the power of introspection and find out more about yourself when you take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This in-person event will guide you through mindfulness exercises using tea, poetry and guided journaling. Don't miss this opportunity to unwind and delve deeper into your own identity!
I, Taniya Gupta, author of What Will People Say, and Soo, founder of Soocha Tea invite you to spend your Sunday morning in this restorative workshop with tea, poetry-reading and guided journaling in MIKA’s beautiful space in Toronto.
When: Sunday June 23rd 10am. - 11:15am EST
Where: MIKA, 496 College St, Toronto
What to Expect:
- a mindful tea preparation demo
- sip on 2 different teas while listening to poems paired with each tea
- guided journaling time (journaling cards and pens provided)
- write some poetry together at the end
- walk away with tips to include rest in your own day
All the materials needed will be provided.
There will be an opportunity after the workshop to purchase selected teas from Soo, signed copies of What Will People Say from Taniya, as well as ceramics and plants from Mika.
