About this Event
Join me for an intimate evening of film, reflection, and farewell on Thursday, April 9th at Close-Up Cinema in Shoreditch.
This screening marks not only the sharing of my latest self-funded short film, but also a send-off as I prepare to move to Japan just days later. It feels really special to gather, pause, and share this moment with you.
The film follows a young woman navigating therapy, as she’s set a piece of homework that asks her to open up — something that proves more difficult than expected. What unfolds is a quiet, honest portrayal of vulnerability, resistance, and emotional unravelling.
This project has been brought to life through the care, time, and dedication of a beautifully diverse team, built with intention and a shared belief in creating the kind of industry we want to be part of.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, with a short introduction at 7:20 pm, and the screening begins at 7:30 pm. Guests are welcome to bring food into the space, with drinks available to purchase at the venue.
There will also be an optional donation on the night, with all proceeds going to YoungMinds, supporting youth mental health across the UK.
Thank you for being part of this moment ❤︎
