DMC Service Days: Love in Motion
At Dallas Movement Collective, we believe movement is about more than dance.
It’s about moving love through our bodies and into the world around us.
So, once a month, we are pausing our regular Sunday dance gatherings to bring that practice into direct service through DMC Service Days: Love in Motion.
These days are an opportunity for us to embody the deeper arc of our practice: movement → embodiment → connection → responsibility → service.
May love move us all … into responsible action for ourselves, each other and the living planet we share.
Our May DMC service day will be a White Rock Lake Clean Up!
Saturday, May 24th | 3:00 PM
Meet Up: Bath House at White Rock Lake: 521 E Lawther Dr, Dallas, TX 75218
We’ll begin by taking a moment to land together, hear the voices of children, and reconnect to our shared love for water, nature, and community. From there, we’ll spread out around the lake for a collective cleanup.
Bring:
• A trash bag
• A water bottle
• Comfortable clothes/shoes
• Your willingness to put love into motion
