Attention all Newcastle whisky lovers --- Australia’s premiere whisky sampling event is happening for the first time ever in Newcastle!On Saturday 27 September, we have two sessions to choose from, 12-3pm or 5-8pm.
Whisky Live is a great event showcasing high-quality whiskies to discover and taste. We feature Australian and international brands and include peated, non-peated, sherry cask aged and more.
You visit each exhibitor, taste their range of whiskies and other liquors and learn about the different flavours and how they are expertly made.
We even have a scrumptious hot and cold buffet to refresh your palate and help reduce the effects of alcohol and water stations to rinse your glass and rehydrate.

Distillers will delivery short masterclasses providing whisky lovers with an in-depth understanding of their different whiskies. You may even get to sample a special whisky that’s not on tasting in the main event! Classes run for about 15 minutes and are free to attend.
