About this Event
We created Narrative Network because creative professionals and storytellers are essential to innovation and economic growth, yet are rarely given a dedicated seat at the table. This space exists for designers, photographers, videographers, writers, PR pros, artists, musicians, and makers to connect, collaborate, and help shape how our region shows up in the world. Other regions already understand that storytelling drives growth. We can't afford to lag behind.
You told us the networking-first format worked, so we’re keeping it. At our next gathering, we’ll also invite a local community member to briefly share why this group matters to them.
What we heard from you:
- There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to storytelling.
- The Narrative Network participants want broader representation and visibility.
- We want less siloed work and more collaboration.
- Creative work has real value and deserves fair pay and respect.
Looking ahead, Narrative Network will continue to focus on:
- Relationship-building and networking
- Honest conversations about creative work and value
- Collaboration across industries
- Lifting one another up and sharing opportunities for contracting, freelancing, fractional roles, full-time employment, etc.
