We have exciting news for Spring of 2026.Kentucky Region Porsche Club of America will be hosting our April Spools 2026 DE at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY.
This coming year, our event will be March 27-29, 2026.
Last year this event was limited to certain run groups.
New for 2026. We will open this event to ALL skill levels.
This event will be a Full HPDE on Saturday and Sunday. For the first time at NCM, KYPCA will be hosting an Advanced Lapping Day on Friday, March 27th. If you are an Advanced or Solo Intermediate driver you qualify to attend Friday.
Also new for 2026. KYPCA will be hosting PCA National Instructor Training on Friday, March 27th.
If you or your buddies are wanting to get into instructing this is the best way to start. People who participate and pass PCA NIT will graduate with National PCA Instructor Status,
and have the opportunity to obtain MSF (Motorsport Safety Foundation) Level 2 instructor status.
Current PCA Instructors who mentor and attend the classroom sessions also will have the opportunity to obtain MSF Level 2 Status if they wish to do so.
Run group descriptions below.
Abbreviated Description:
Red - Advanced/Instructors - High Horsepower / Fast pace - Open Passing with Point-bys
Black - Advanced/Instructors - Low Horsepower / Lower pace - Open Passing with Point-bys
White - Solo Intermediate - Solo experience REQUIRED - Open Passing with Point-bys
Blue - Intermediate - Fully instructed - Previous NCM experience preferred but not required- Learning Open Passing with Point-bys
Yellow - Novice - Fully Instructed - Previous track experience - 2 days @ NCM or 4 days on track with an instructor - Limited Passing Zones
Green - Beginner - Fully Instructed - No Previous Track experience or 2 days at other tracks - Limited Passing Zones
Blue and White run groups will be running together. Blue drivers will be learning to drive at White run groups pace with their instructor.
There will be at least Four (4) run sessions each day; 25 minutes each. We may combine Green/Yellow to allow more track time.
We will need instructors that have experience with NCM. Instructor's will be placed in Red and Black groups to align with student schedule to avoid back-to-back sessions.
PCA Instructors are all welcome. If you are not a PCA instructor but have equivalent certifications (MSF LVL 2, BMWCCA, NASA, ETC.) Please reach out to the registrar prior to signing up.
