This summit will address how AI will shape industry products/services in key sectors of the SC economy and the skills universities must develop to meet those needs. The centerpiece of the summit will be industry sector panel discussion, each with 2-3 industry leaders and academic moderator. The focal sectors are energy, healthcare and risk and finance & insurance. The panels will be followed by a Call to Action in which participants are invited to join one of three breakouts to develop agendas around University–industry partnerships for education and R&D.
