What makes you feel alive?
A monthly Deep Dive into holistic body practices.
I think it comes as no surprise to say that the systems around us (the pace and pressure of modern life) are making it increasingly difficult to stay in touch with LIFE, with the creative life forces that are inherent to all of us.
While we might not be able to change the whole system (yet), we're able to shift how we are in the present moment and how we respond to what we encounter. This workshop aims to offer a space where we can practice that. Practicing seemingly small acts of refusal: a refusal to stay numb, disconnected, uninspired and isolated. Instead, we get the chance to drop into something more direct: the body. Sensation, movement, and the feeling of really being here.

What's moving you, underneath the noise?
What fuels your inner flame of creativity, curiosity and playfulness?
What brings you back to your human-ness?
We'll open the space for curious somatic exploration. We'll work with somatics, dance improvisation, contact improvisation, and other embodiment tools to tap into these questions.
Come as you are. This workshop is open to anyone living in a body in this day and age. You are welcome to bring your notebook.

About the facilitator
Eszter Kalóz is a dancer, holistic dance-movement pedagogue, somatic movement facilitator, and yoga teacher based in Berlin. She shares her offerings and ongoing inquiries under the name Bodyfulness.
Her work is dedicated to supporting personal and collective transformation through embodied practices, drawing from dance pedagogy, dance and body-therapeutic approaches, and holistic movement methods. Her teaching style is sensitive, caring, and playful.
What she offers is influenced by an ongoing research into her own body-mind and therefore has a constantly evolving form. She focuses on cultivating awareness and creating spaces where whatever is present can come to the surface.
