About this Event
This event will be a space for collective learning, prayer, and fundraising to strengthen our commitment to Palestine
The panel will explore the relationship between Islamic faith and political struggle. Speakers from different leading Muslim and Arab organisations will explore how resistance and political struggle are central to Islam, the role of Muslim youth in Britain in organising for Palestine, and how Islam has been a force of anti-zionist resistance in Palestine and across the Arab region.
The event will commence at 4:00pm, starting with the panel followed by Maghreb jama’ah prayer and a community iftar (around 5:56pm).
Ticket price covers access to both the panel and food served for iftar.
Funds raised (through tickets and Palestine merch sold at the event) will be split between Middle East Children's Alliance to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza, and a hardship fund dedicated to supporting newly-arrived asylum seekers from Gaza living in difficult conditions here in Britain.
