About this Event
Overview :
What is a person? Where did the concept of personhood come from? Can a human embryo be considered as a person? An AI entity? Or a human-nonhuman combination?
This in-person event organised by the Scottish Council on Human Bioethics will be held at the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel.
A number of experts will delve into the origins of personhood and explore whether new biological and AI entities can be considered as persons.
