About this Event
We are living through one of the most innovative periods in the history of type 1 diabetes care. Yet for many children and young people around the world, even access to insulin and glucose monitoring remains out of reach.
As Life for a Child marks 25 years of supporting children and young people with T1D across low- and middle-income countries, this session will be grounded in the realities of delivering care in these settings over time.
Kelly Close, founder of Close Concerns and The diaTribe Foundation, will join Life for a Child General Manager Dr Graham Ogle in conversation with the audience, reflecting on what has changed over the past 25 years, what has not, and where the future may go next.
Rather than a traditional presentation, this session is designed as an open, discussion-led conversation, with audience participation encouraged throughout.
Designed for clinicians, researchers, advocates, industry leaders, funders, policymakers, and people living with diabetes.
