The Wharton Biotech Conference 2026, presented by the Penn Biotech Group (PBG), brings together industry leaders, forward-thinking professionals, and driven students to explore critical challenges and breakthrough innovations shaping the future of biotechnology while strengthening the Philadelphia biotech ecosystem.

The conference features expert-led panel discussions across key domains, including translational science and innovation, healthcare policy and regulation, AI-driven drug development, business and capital strategy, and careers in biotech. The program also includes a biotech investment competition, where participants present and evaluate real-world investment opportunities.
