Whalien and The Whags, two of Seattle’s premier jam bands, are teaming up for a long awaited night of joyous jams. Doors 9pm showtime 10pm. Seattle band The Whags make music for each other. The group — guitarists Liam Tevlin and Chris Porter, keyboardist Jordan Tan, bassist Charles Wicklander, and drummer Cam Hancock — casts a wide net over Americana, replete with southern-rock guitar licks, the dual vocals of bluegrass, and the same enchanting aura of classic jam bands.
Whalien, with their eclectic boogie sound, are sure to bring a smile to your face and a shake to your booty. With clever lyrics and fierce musicianship, they jump across genres, all while keeping the dance grooves thumpin’.
