Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café is an independent bookstore founded in Asheville, NC in 1982. They carry a carefully curated selection of books for adults, children, and young adults, as well as gift items.
Blue Moon Books
Blue Moon Books is a used bookstore in Canton with quality fiction and nonfiction titles in a wide variety of genres.
Chapters Book Stop
Asheville’s first mobile book store on a refurbished school bus. They carry both new and used books.
Lit Local
Lit Local is owned and operated by local author Jacqui Castle, and the mission is simple: get the work of local authors into the hands of more readers. You may have seen the carts around town!

Cuentos y Café is a local multicultural, Latina woman-owned, independent book space that operates as a pop-up and online bookstore. We offer carefully curated new and used books that highlight BIPOC and BIPOC LGBTQIA+ authors, celebrating the richness of diverse cultures and experiences through our stories.
