Join the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group for Whale Watch Ireland 2026 at Nimmo's Pier, Galway City.On Saturday 23rd May, the Irish Whale & Dolphin Group (IWDG) invites you to join us at a local headland or vantage point for Whale Watch Ireland 2026 between 5:00–7:00 PM.
This annual event, now in its 24th year, features free guided watches at locations all around the Irish coast as part of All-Ireland Whale Watch Day.
Whether you’re new to whale watching or a seasoned wildlife enthusiast, everyone is welcome. Bring warm clothing and binoculars if you have them.
During the watch, IWDG volunteers and local experts will help you spot and identify whales, dolphins, porpoises, seabirds and other marine wildlife.
