LG Live RWC is an artist-focused concert series, held on the middle Fridays of every month, and hosted at Redwood City plant/gift shop and cafe Little Green A Plant Bar (named after the Joni Mitchell song, in case you were wondering). Set in a lush, plant-filled cafe with high ceilings, the series has hosted over 90 concerts and countless local music artists since January 2023. Many new works have debuted here over the last two years, and both artists and audiences alike have enjoyed the cafe's intimate and comfortable, warmly-lit setting.
These concerts are held free to the public, are for all ages, and supported thanks to pay-what-you-can donations made by audience members.
Little Green A Plant Bar's retail shop is open 30 minutes before and after concert hours.

About West Coast Songwriters' Association:
Empowering Creativity, Connecting Communities
At West Coast Songwriters, our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where songwriters of all levels and backgrounds can thrive. Through our supportive network, educational resources, and collaborative events, we aim to empower creativity and cultivate the next generation of songwriting talent on the West Coast and beyond. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we strive to elevate the art of songwriting while enriching the lives of individuals and strengthening the fabric of our musical community.
Founding Statement:
West Coast Songwriters was born from a shared passion for music and a belief in the power of song to inspire, connect, and transform lives. Our journey began with Patty and Michael Silversher who had a vision to create a supportive and collaborative community where songwriters could come together to hone their craft, share their stories, and find their voice.
Inspired by the rich musical heritage of the West Coast, our founding members embarked on a mission to cultivate a vibrant community that celebrates creativity, fosters growth, and champions artistic expression. They envisioned a space where aspiring songwriters could find mentorship, resources, and opportunities to showcase their talent, regardless of their background or level of experience.
Driven by their commitment to excellence and innovation, WCS was born and embarked on a journey of exploration and discovery, embracing the diversity of musical genres and the richness of human experience. We recognized the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable environment where all songwriters feel welcomed, respected, and supported on their creative journey.
With dedication, perseverance, and a shared sense of purpose, we laid the foundation for West Coast Songwriters, shaping it into a dynamic community that continues to inspire, empower, and uplift songwriters from coast to coast. As we continue to evolve and grow, we remain steadfast in our founding principles, guided by our passion for music and our belief in the transformative power of song.
WCS is a 501(c)(3) Organization
