About this Event
There's no place like home but don't we all feel like our best selves on holiday? Sometimes grapes can also really benefit from an extended vacation and as wine drinkers we have fallen in love with many new expressions of grapes that are far from their original home.
Sometimes their foreign incarnations can even become their best known, as in the case of Malbec in Argentina or South African Chenin Blanc. Tonight we will taste these new classics as well as examples of grapes that are really out on a limb and loving it - ever heard of Nebbiolo from Yarra Valley, Australia? Join us to enjoy a bounty of wines borne from wanderlust.
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
