ABOUT THE BOOK
Transform your understanding of the body and discover its innate healing ability within this book.Moving Beyond Core invites readers to meet their Inner Guide and release the need for external validation. The author leads us on an adventure through the theoretical underpinnings of contemporary movement and bodywork practices-making this a valuable read for movement practitioners and clients alike.
This paradigm shifting book is the result of LeBlanc-Arbuckle's 40 years of teaching and practicing with pioneering educators in the fields of transpersonal growth and wellness, yoga, Pilates, and more. The book invites readers to see the human body as a living process that knows innately how to self-heal, self-organize, and adapt within social and natural environments.
Introducing concepts such as "partnering" with gravity and "ground reaction force", we are invited into a dynamic, omnidirectional relationship with our body's fascial matrix.
LeBlanc-Arbuckle presents alternatives to "right/wrong" movement by sensing the tension integrity of our original biological blueprint. Through this, we discover our sense of body as a living instrument which is tuned by our unique shape-shifting biointelligence. As deeply held tension patterns begin unwinding, the embodied approach outlined in this book will help readers feel more grounded, mentally centered, and emotionally calm.
This exploration shows us the possibilities for a deeper, fluid, more interpersonally connected way of being.
